  1. I am grateful to you for mailing me some very informative and important updates on property related matters.I would like to congratulate you on the above article as it is an eye opener for people/Licensors who are being harassed by the managing committees for no good reason.Infact there is a society in Malad West, which bullies the Licensors not allowing him to give his flat on leave and license until they interview the person taking their own sweet time to give appointment. This is unnecessary and kind of harassment.Keep up the good work.

  2. I have along with my flatmates have rented an apartment. I have been staying in the house for last two years. However now the society has come up with a rule that guys will not be allowed in our apartments. We are  working professionals and have friends to come over to our place. However we have never ever created any problem / havoc whatsoever. I need to know is does the society have the right to restrict friends at a bachelors apartment. But a family is allowed as many guest as needed. Really need some advise on this.

  3. Hi, I am taking a flat on rent in hiranandani thane and the agent has asked me Rs 4000 as the society shifting charges. Is this application as I have only 2 bags containing my clothes and few utensils. Please let me know if this is legal.

  4. Sir, Can Flat Owners Welfare Association charge in excess for using Gym to the tenants apart from monthly maintenance charges collected for common facility such as Electricity/water/Housekeeping/security . Residence of Our flats is 70 :30 between owners and tenants

  5. Now that Adsociations have realised that a blanket ban on bachelors does not hold water with the law, they are coming up with innovative workarounds. They have brought out a rule in the last GBM to restrict the number of occupants in a flat in tha case of bachelors. 3 for a 2bhk and 4 for a 3bhk. Can this also be deemed illegal on the basis of the earlier judgement?
